Comet is a first freshener. She is currently nursing two kids. We began milking her on 4/5/2023 and stopped after a few days. She will need someone who has time and patience to train her to milk. Comet is a very friendly doe but is not as cooperative as we would prefer when handled. She will be available for sale by 4/30/2023.
She was disbudded as a kid but there remains a half inch horn on right side. She came from a CAE free herd and was negative on her test on April of 2022. She’s up to date on CDT vaccine and received both doses of Vimco mastitis vaccine this spring in preparation for milking. She’s a solid built doe with above average hoof quality.
