September 2022 is finally here and that means things are about to get extra busy for us. From now through Christmas we will be working hard to fill online orders and attending local festivals. This past Saturday we were vendors at the Laurel Mercantile Mississippi Made event. There was a great crowd from all over the country. Ben Napier even showed up and everyone got pictures with him. He’s a super nice guy.
Later this month we will attend the Pecan Festival in Richton, MS. We will also be attending Loblolly in Laurel and the Peanut Festival at Mitchell Farms. Our little business is growing with an increase in online sales and several businesses now carrying our all-natural products.
Here at the homestead there’s been a lot of activity lately. We’ve purchased several registered Nubian dairy goats to increase the amount of goat milk we produce. There’s also an indoor milking parlor under construction. We hope to have it completed in the spring. It seems there is currently more work to do than there is time. So we are prioritizing and trying not to overwhelm ourselves. I have to remind myself that we need time to relax, to rest our minds, and to avoid burnout.
We are so thankful to our customers and friends! We could not do this without your support. So thank you for being here as we continue to grow.
